Stourwood Corner is available to rent all year round so whether you want to spend some of your summer holidays in beautiful, sunny Bournemouth, or spend Christmas by the sea, we guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Stourwood Corner is based in Southbourne, a stunning and family friendly residential area of Bournemouth a stones throw away from the beach. The property has all you could need for your stay, and with the local shops only a few minutes walk away, you will never be far away from what you need!
As well as being close to the beach and Bournemouth town, you will find lots of local attractions close by. There’s something for everybody!

Absolutely fantastic stay with our kids for 6 nights at Ginny's place. The accommodation was spacious, homely, and spotlessly clean. You can only admire the attention to detail that Ginny has put into the design and up keep; from the beach theme throughout the apartment to the supply of virtually every provision you could possibly need for a stay away from home. So many nice touches, such as the Air show guide, tourist information, books and toys for kids as well anything you may require for a trip to the beach. The location itself is fantastic, a short 5 minute stroll from the promenade and its beautiful beach, with spectacular views over the coastline. The house is located in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood and just a short walk away from a very nice high street with all the usual provisions. We are so glad that we chose to stay in Southbourne, a suburb just down the coast from the much busier Bournemouth. It turned out to be an ideal place to watch the spectacular air show, and only a short drive from Bournemouth for anything we wanted to do there. We cannot speak highly enough of everything connected to our stay! Hope to return again one day.

We had a really great stay at Ginny's place! She welcomed us on arrival and made sure everything was ready. The flat is clean and spacious. It is especially good for people with kids as there are plentiful toys and a bedroom nicely set up for children - this was hugely appreciated. The kitchen was spotless and well equipped for self-catering. Ginny left us an apple cake which was delicious. The beach is just a few minutes away and is sandy - great for a buckets-and-spades day. Southbourne is a lovely little town next to Bournemouth and has a great high street with nice shops, restaurants and cafes. The New Forest is easily within striking distance and we also enjoyed Kingston Lacy (National Trust) for a day out. It is a really good choice for a family or group stay as there is plenty of space. It is also quiet. Thank you so much to Ginny and her family, including their dog Rusty. We hope to return!

I cannot recommend this haven of loveliness more. The decor and furniture were superb and so comfy beds were amazing and the rooms were nicely sized. I love Ginny's extra touches with a basket of goodies and her Dorset app!e cake which was out of this world. We were visiting for my brother's wedding and she made what was already a good weekend a fabulous weekend we will definitely be back thank you x x

We had an amazing stay at Ginny's flat, from start to finish we couldn't fault anything. The flat was immaculate and beautifully presented, from the fluffy towels to the king sized beds. If we could have moved in we would have. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is lots of space in the flat. Travelling with a small child isn't the easiest but staying at Ginny's flat certainly makes life easier. With lovely toys, themed books, games, childrens crockery and cutlery and a nicely decorated children's bedroom there is very little else you could want. Our little boy loved our stay and said that the best bit about the flat was the hungry caterpillar outfit and all the toys! The personal touches really make all the difference, Ginny left Halloween chocolates and I didn't get much of a look in on the homemade apple cake! The flat is in a good location and nice quiet surroundings and we are trying to find an excuse to book another visit, maybe when the weather gets a bit warmer so we can visit the beach and utilise all the buckets and spades!

Perfect! Everything has been thought about. We were made to feel very welcome. I have a 9 month old baby and we haven’t been away that much so I had lots of questions beforehand and Ginny reassured me promptly. This flat is super baby friendly, but also great for the adults - comfortable beds, spotless, great location. Ginny is lovely and so helpful. Would definitely recommend this place! Thanks Ginny!
